The same applies to your metadata, if you decide to replace your current dataset, you should also replace its metadata. Also remove the contents (not the folder itself) of MY_FOLDER/vgg/vts/frontend_data/searchdata. If you decide to replace it, please remove all the images within MY_FOLDER/vgg/mydata/images/mydataset (just the images, not the folder itself). In both cases, you have the option of just adding new images to the current dataset or replacing it completely. If you choose to do this, you can either use images from your local storage or images downloaded from an International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) repository. The small image sample provided with this demo deployment can be replaced with your own images. A brief description on the usage of the system is available by clicking the "Getting Started" link on the home page of VTS. You can click on the button to the right of "WEB PREVIEW" to open VTS in your default web browser. After this, press the "RESTART" button to restart the container and click on "Home".Note that in the image MY_FOLDER corresponds to the user's HOME directory, represented with the ' ~' character. Match MY_FOLDER/vgg/mydata to /userdata.You will need to press the "CHANGE" button for each "DOCKER FOLDER" in order to: Then click on "Settings" and then go to the "Volumes" tab (see the image below). In Kitematic, go to the window that shows the status of all containers, and select the VTS container (if it is not already selected). After this point you should have a vgg folder within MY_FOLDER containing two subfolders: VTS and mydata. Open the downloaded file and drag the expanded contents inside MY_FOLDER.For the rest of the instructions we will refer to this location as MY_FOLDER (this could be your Documents or Applications folder, for example). Otherwise, you will need to configure access to the folders using the Docker service menu. You can choose any location in your computer, as long as it is accessible to the Docker service. However, this is not absolutely necessary.

For Mac we recommend that you choose a location within your HOME directory. Select a location in your computer where to store the data for VTS.Use of the images must abide by the Flickr Terms of Use. Please note that VGG does not own the copyright of the images. It contains a subset of COCO2014 (100 images), along with other data for the VTS application. Once VTS is started, Kitematic switches to a new window showing the status of all containers (see the image below). Kitematic will show a progress bar for the downloading process. An up-to-date Docker image will be downloaded from the Internet.When starting VTS for the first time follow the sub-steps below, otherwise jump to step B-4.Click on the "CREATE" button to start a new VTS Docker container. You will see VTS in the list of results (see the image below). Search for oxvgg to obtain the list of docker images distributed by the Visual Geometry Group.Using the Kitematic shortcut on your desktop (or your "Applications" folder), start Kitematic and go to the search bar in the main screen.Follow the instructions on this page step by step.
